Woman crit­i­cally in­jured as she leaps in front of A train

A woman was crit­i­cally in­jured when she jumped in front of an on­com­ing sub­way train in Brook­lyn on Sun­day morn­ing, po­lice said.

The con­duc­tor spot­ted the woman leap­ing in front of the Queens­bound A train as it ar­rived at the Utica Ave. sta­tion in Bed­ford-Stuyvesant about 6:30 a.m., cops said.

The vic­tim, who cops were not im­me­di­ately able to iden­tify, was taken to Kings County Hospi­tal in crit­i­cal con­di­tion.

Queens-bound A and C trains were briefly redi­rected to by­pass the Utica Ave. sta­tion as po­lice con­ducted their in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
