He’s a ‘dirty cop’ – Fitty

Ax precinct chief, sez rapper

Rapper 50 Cent on Sunday blasted the Brooklyn precinct commander who allegedly ordered officers to “shoot him on sight,” calling Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez a “dirty cop” who should’ve been stripped of his badge and gun.

“This is how I wake up this morning,” the rapper wrote in one of several Instagram posts, along with a screenshot of the Daily News’ story. “This guy Emanuel Gonzalez is a dirty cop abusing his POWER. The sad part is this man still has a badge and a gun.”

About 15 minutes later, he wrote, “‘This is Emanuel Gonzalez commanding officer of the 72percinct (sic). He think he got beef with me, so he sending the Homies to put some work in. NYNOTSAFE #thegangstagotabadge”

Gonzalez, a 30-year NYPD veteran who remains on active duty, allegedly made the threat during roll call at the 72nd Precinct stationhouse in Sunset Park last June.

A month prior, the deputy inspector had filed an aggravated harassment complaint with the NYPD, claiming 50 Cent threatened him in an Instagram post about a lawsuit involving Gonzalez, writing “Get the strap” — slang for “get the gun.”

The Queens-bred rapper was commenting on a suit first reported in The News accusing Gonzalez of shaking down the owner of a Sunset Park club 50 Cent used to frequent.

Gonzalez also claimed that several of the rapper’s 22 million followers responded with their own threats against the precinct leader, leaving him “in fear of his safety.”

The NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau investigated Gonzalez’s complaint, but no charges were filed. The “In Da Club” rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, eventually took down the post.

On Sunday, the head of the Captains Endowment Association said the alleged roll call threat was “completely false” and that 50 Cent was to blame for the beef.

“The allegations against the inspector are completely false,” said Roy Richter. “It was 50 Cent who put the safety of the inspector and his family in jeopardy by publishing a threatening tweet.”

An NYPD spokesman said the June incident is under internal review.

Rank-and-file cops were stunned to learn that Gonzalez was still on active duty.

“If any of that s--t happened to us regular cops, we would be on Staten Island VIPER,” said one officer who wished not to be named, referring to the NYPD’s Video Interactive Patrol Enhancement Response unit that monitors surveillance cameras in NYCHA buildings. Historically, cops stripped of their guns and shields are sent to the unit.

“Why is he a CO (commanding officer) much less on the job?” another cop asked.
