Allen, Henry find plenty of Week 13 luck

messed with me a lot.”

But the double-threat quarterback was solid when it counted. Not only did Jackson fuel the NFL’s top-ranked rushing attack, but he directed a clutch drive that lasted nearly 6 1/2 minutes before Tucker ended it with a kick that tore through the raindrops and between the uprights.

Jackson knew that after he had done his job, Tucker would do his part.

“That golden leg. I got all the faith in him,” Jackson said. “I’m on the sideline praying, but at the same time I know Tucker can do it.”

Tucker, the most accurate field goal kicker in NFL history, now has 15 game-winners over an eight-year career.

“That’s the guy you want in that situation,” coach John Harbaugh said.

Baltimore (10-2) improved to 16-3 with Jackson as a starter and 12-0 when he rushes for at least 70 yards. In addition, Jackson became the first quarterback in NFL history to have four 100-yard rushing games in a season.

Raheem Mostert ran for a careerhigh 146 yards and a touchdown for the 49ers (10-2), now tied with New

Orleans for the best record in the NFC.

“We had every chance to win that game. Came up a little bit short there at the end,” coach Kyle Shanahan said. “Credit to them. Hopefully, we can earn an opportunity to maybe get the chance to play them some other time again.”

Jimmy Garoppolo went 15 of 21 for 165 yards for San Francisco.

Jackson lost a fumble for the first time this season when Marcell Harris yanked the wet ball from his grasp at the San Francisco 20 in the third quarter.

Week 13 had everything. A pair of young quarterbacks lighting up opposing defenses, a defensive player making money for himself, and even a specialist scoring a crucial touchdown.

Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

Give credit where it’s due: Josh Allen is playing good, efficient football right now. Allen carved up the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, throwing for 231 yards and a touchdown. Allen had a 120.1 passer rating in the game as well.

Allen was billed as a high-variance, raw passer coming out Wyoming, but he’s starting to grow into his abilities as the Bills try to win the AFC East.

Derrick Henry, RB, Tennessee Titans

Derrick Henry steamrolled through the Colts’ defense, rushing for 149 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries. He even scored a touchdown on fourth down, when he literally threw Colts safety Malik Hooker on the ground as Hooker hopelessly held onto Henry’s arm.

Over his last 16 regular-season games, Henry has 1725 rushing yards and 20 total touchdowns.

Jared Goff, QB, Los Angeles Rams

Goff has had a rough season up to this point, but he absolutely lit up the Arizona Cardinals and led the Rams to a 34-7 victory over their division rival.

Goff threw for 424 yards and two touchdowns on 43 attempts. His 120.3 passer rating was the highest mark that he’s put up this season. His previous season-high was 119.3 against the Bengals.

Shaquil Barrett, DE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Barrett continued his breakout season by collecting two more sacks, a tackle for loss, and four quarterback hits in Tampa Bay’s 28-11 victory over the Jaguars. Barrett now has 14.5 sacks in 12 games this season, making him the leading sack artist in the league so far.

Barrett signed a one year deal with Tampa Bay, which means he’ll be in line for a massive payday after the season.

Matt Haack, P, Miami Dolphins

Haack became a legend on Sunday. In the Dolphins 37-31 victory over the Eagles, Haack threw a touchdown pass on a trick play to kicker Jason Sanders. The Dolphins came out in a formation that confused the Eagles and Haack threw the pass to Sanders.
