Add DeAndre Jordan to the list of Nets who won’t be playing in the Orlando bubble when the NBA season resumes at the end of July.

The Nets center revealed Monday night that he tested positive for the co- ronavirus hours after teammate Spencer Dinwiddie told The Athletic that he had also tested positive.

“Found out last night and confirmed again today that I’ve tested positive for Covid while being back in market,” Jor- dan said via Twitter. “As a result of this, I will not be in Orlando for the resumption of the season.”

While Dinwiddie has wishfully left open the possibility of playing again this season, Jordan immediately ruled out a return. As such, he joins Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Wilson Chandler and Nico- las Claxton as players who will definitely not be joining the team in Orlando this summer.

bounds Jordan a game averaged for the 8.3 points Nets while and 10 split- reting time at center with Jarrett Allen. While Jordan spent most of the season coming off the bench, he was inserted into the starting lineup after Jacque Vaughn took over for Kenny Atkinson.

Dinwiddie said his positive test came despite all efforts to be safe.

“Over the past few months, I have been diligent about protecting myself and others from COVID-19 by following all designated protocol and quarantining,” Dinwiddie told The Athletic. “I was ready and prepared to rejoin my teammates as we were to be an early entry team in the resumed season. I flew private to return to New York, passed multiple COVID-19 tests over my first several days in New York and was able to participate in a couple practices within the first week.

“Originally, we were supposed to be one of the teams to enter into the Orlando bubble early, but training camp got switched back to New York and unfortunately I am now positive. Given that I have experienced symptoms, including fever and chest tightness, it is unclear on whether or not I’ll be able to participate in Orlando.

“Hindsight is 20/20.” Dinwiddie is the latest NBA player to test positive for the coronavirus as the league shifts gears toward its 22-team return to play in Orlando. Indiana Pacers starting point guard Malcolm Brogdon has also tested positive, though Brogdon announced he plans to join his teammates in Orlando after his period of self-isolation results in consecutive coronavirus negative tests.
