Search for ‘Glee’ star continues
The search for missing “Glee” actress Naya Rivera on Sunday included cabins and other structures near the Southern California lake where she disappeared, officials said.
Rivera, 33, went missing at Lake Piru on Wednesday. Authorities say she is presumed to have drowned and the search is being treated as a recovery mission.
“In today’s search for Naya Rivera, cabins and outbuildings in the surrounding area will be checked once again, as well as the shoreline,” said the Ventura County sheriff’s office. “This has been part of the ongoing search effort since her disappearance on Wednesday afternoon. Boat crews continue to scan the lake.”
The search for Rivera (inset) began Wednesday after her 4-year-old son was found alone on a rented boat by an employee who went to look for them after the boat became overdue, authorities said. Officials have said they do not suspect foul play. On Saturday, Rivera’s ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, went to Lake Piru, said TMZ.
