Biden jokes on veep

Joe Biden smilingly told a Fox News reporter Saturday that he had settled on a running mate — then told the journalist that he was the chosen one.

Biden was enjoying a bike ride near his summer home in the Delaware resort town of Rehoboth Beach when he rolled past reporters.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy yelled a question at Biden about his much anticipated veep pick. “Yeah, I have,” Biden replied. “You.”

Even without knowing who the pick will be, it would be a significant breaking news event if the presumptive Democratic nominee had picked his running mate.

But reporters will have to return to reading the tea leaves about who will be the No. 2 person on the Biden ticket.
