Sharon Osbourne vividly recalls the night her “Prince of Darkness” nearly became her executioner.

In a revelatory new documentary that recently aired on A&E, the reality star discusses a 1989 incident in which husband OzzyOsbourne—highondrugs — nearly snuffed out her life.

“We had a couple of fights and you can tell it was building to something, you could just feel it,” she said in “Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne.” “I just knew it was coming.” More alarmingly, the co-host of “The Talk” recounted the Black Sabbath front man as appearing extremely calm.

“It frightened the s—t out of me,” said Sharon, who recalled putting her three kids to bed before picking up a book. That’s whenOzzyenteredtheroom.“I had no idea who sat across from me on the sofa, but it wasn’t my husband,” said Sharon, 67.

“He gets to a stage where he gets this look in his eyes where his shutters are down and I couldn’t get through to him. He just says, ‘We’ve come to a decision that you’ve got to die.’ ”

Moments later, the rocker attacked her by wrapping his hands around her throat.

Ozzy’s take on the incident 31 years later is even more harrowing. “I felt the calmest I’ve ever felt in my life,” explained the musician. “It was like serenity. Everything was just peaceful.”

Sharon confirmed her husband seemed very much in control of himself at that moment.

“He was very calm. Very, very calm, and he lunged across at me,” she recalled.

“I felt the stuff on the table and felt the panic button and just pressed it. Next thing I know the cops were there.”

When asked about the incident now, Ozzy, 71, appeared to take it in stride: “It’s not exactly one of my greatest f——-g achievements.”

Despite claiming “it was probably the most frightened I’ve ever been,” Sharon dropped attempted murder charges.

She later considered divorcing Ozzy while he was in rehab, but said that she was “really lonely” away from him.
