Cop widow slams pols & radicals for killing

The widow of slain NYPD Officer Wenjian Liu blames politicians and “radicals” for her husband’s assassination, declaring in a heart-wrenching video Wednesday that all cops “deserve our respect.”

“The man who killed my husband believed the lie told by the politicians and the radicals that police are evil,” Sanny Liu said in a two-minute Twitter post from the Detectives Endowment Association. “The men and women of the NYPD are the most compassionate, caring and giving people.”

We njia n Liu, 32, and his partner, Officer Rafael Ramos, 40, were shot to death by Ismaaiyl Brinsley on Dec. 20, 2014, while sitting in a marked patrol car in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

Both Liu and Ramos were posthumously promoted to detective.

Sanny — who also goes by Pei Xia Chen — and Wenjian Liu married three months before his assassination outside the Tompkins Houses, at the intersection of Myrtle and Tompkins Aves.

“The man hated the police and traveled to New York City with the goal of killing cops,” Sanny Liu (photo) said in the video. “They were sitting in a car and ambushed. They were simply wearing a blue uniform. There was no other reason.”

Brinsley boasted on social media about wanting to murder cops in the hours before the ambush. He was killed a short time later in a shootout with police.

“I’m putting wings on pigs today. They take 1 of ours ... let’s take 2 of theirs,” Brinsley, 28, wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of a silver handgun. The post included three hashtags: #ShootThePolice, #RIPErivGarner (sic) and #RIPMikeBrown.

After her husband’s death, Liu requested that her husband’s sperm be saved. The couple’s daughter, Angelina, was born in 2017.

“Through the miracle of modern science I was able to give birth to a baby girl ... the baby that me and my husband always wanted,” she said in the video.
