Ghislaine: Keep my sex life secret!

- BY STEPHEN REX BROWN

Ghislaine Maxwell is fighting the release of further salacious testimony under oath, arguing she only shared details of her “own sexual activity” and the “sexual activities of others” in 2016 because she thought it would stay secret.

The accused madam for Jeffrey Epstein says her deposition in July 2016 contains “hundreds oof pages” on her sex llife. She was questtioned by attorneys ffor Epstein accuser VVirginia Giuffre, wwho sued Maxwell (photo left) for defaamation. A judge ssealed much of the ccase under an unusuaally broad protective oorder. Maxwell aand Giuffre’s legal tteams are now going thhrough a court-orddered process of mmaking most of the ddocuments public.

“Ms. Maxwell reelied on the proteective order itself, [GGiuffre’s] promise thhat her answers wouldw remain under seal, and Judge [Robert] Sweet’s order that she answer the questions. She appeared at the July 2016 deposition and answered hundreds of pages worth of questions concerning her ‘own sexual activity’ and ‘her knowledge of the sexual activities of others,’ ” Maxwell attorney Laura Menninger wrote in a Manhattan Federal Court filing.

Maxwell, 58, argues that release of the raunchy testimony will prejudice her right to a fair trial on criminal charges of grooming Epstein victims in the mid-1990s. Maxwell, the daughter of British publishing titan Robert Maxwell, has pleaded not guilty. She is being held at a Brooklyn federal jail.

Her earlier deposition in April 2016 was unsealed in in October and revealed she angrily slammed her fist on a table while being questioned about Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and others. But much of the backand-forth featured Maxwell declining to answer questions.

That prompted Judge Sweet to order she be more forthcoming in the second sit-down.

In addition to the grooming charges, Maxwell is also accused of lying under oath in both depositions.
