A man accused of sexually assaulting three victims in Queens — including a 14-year-old girl — was taken into custody Friday after his stepfather ratted him out to police, authorities said.

Detectives had been looking for the 22-year-old suspect, who has not yet been identified, since Thursday afternoon following a series of sordid daytime attacks.

The man’s stepfather recognized his surveillance photo on the news, kicked him out of the house and called the 102nd Precinct, said NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison.

“We realized that our perpetrator had nowhere to go and was roaming the streets,” Harrison said Friday. “We put a lot of police officers in the vicinity to look for him.”

The attacks started around 10 a.m. Thursday when the man approached a 20-yearold woman in Richmond Hill on 104th St. near Jamaica Ave., officials said. He came up behind her and grabbed her buttocks. As the woman jogged away he kept following her, trying to make her stop, cops said.

She then screamed at the suspect and he ran off. She was not physically hurt and called 911 after the attack, said authorities.

Two hours later, on the corner of 84th Ave. and 118th St. in Kew Gardens, officials said the same suspect approached a 14-year-old girl. The teen was on FaceTime with a friend when the man grabbed her and threw her into a bush. He then lifted her and tried to remove her pants, police said.

The 14-year-old screamed and frightened off the suspect. She raced home and told her mother what happened, and they reported it to police.

Half an hour later near Woodhaven Blvd. in Forest Park, the suspect attacked his third victim, a 24-year-old woman who was out jogging.

He approached from behind, threw the woman to the ground and tried to remove her sweatpants. She fought off the attacker. Around 10 a.m. Friday, Officers Christopher Bergin, Guiseppe Sollecito, and Michael Catanzaro — spotted the suspect and took him into custody.
