- Rocco Parascandola

The sounds of 59 police shots and commands for a suspect to “Drop the gun!” on a Queens street are heard on body-worn camera footage released by the NYPD on Friday.

But Tyran Dent, 24, not only didn’t drop his gun, he fired five shots at cops, police said. Seven cops returned fire, killing him.

Footage from two patrol officers from the 113th Precinct, Dillon McKee and Stephen Keyes, was released Friday, per NYPD policy.

McKee fired 16 shots, emptying his 9-mm. handgun. Keyes fired nine times, police say.

It wasn’t clear Friday if any of the other cops were wearing cameras during the incident on 182nd Place in Springfield Gardens.

Dent cannot be clearly seen on the footage.

He was wanted for shooting and wounding two men and two women on Merrick Blvd. near Foch Blvd. in Jamaica on Sept. 20, police said.

At noon on Oct. 8, a picture of a man, face hidden and holding two guns, was posted on Dent’s Instagram account, police said.

When officers confronted him at a relative’s home less than an hour later, Dent drove off.

He crashed his Audi into a Chevrolet SUV about 100 yards away at 181st Place and 144th Place, then ran through several back yards, tossing away one gun before the fatal encounter on 182nd Place, police said.

The shooting is still being investigated.
