- Thomas Tracy

A man was clinging to life Saturday after being shot inside a Brooklyn deli, police said.

The 27-year-old victim was in My Ameer Deli on Watkins St. and Hegeman Ave. in Brownsville about 10:05 p.m. on Friday when he got into an argument with another man sporting dreadlocks and a tan vest.

As the two argued, the suspect pulled a gun from his vest. The two fought over the gun before the suspect shot the victim in the head, cops said.

Medics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was in grave condition Saturday.

The gunman, described by police as a Black man, was still being sought.
