Man slashed in Hell’s Kitchen

- Thomas Tracy

A 38-year-old man was slashed across the throat during a fight outside a Manhattan deli, leaving him in critical condition, officials said Tuesday.

The victim was inside Stop One Food Market on 10th Ave. near W. 51st St. in Hell’s Kitchen when he got into an argument about 11:30 p.m. Monday, officials said.

The fight spilled outside the deli, where the attacker whipped out a blade and raked it across the victim’s throat.

Grasping his neck wound, the victim ran to a shelter three blocks away, where workers called police.

Medics rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he was in critical but stable condition Tuesday.

His attacker ran off and has not been caught.
