Call for celebration

Elizabeth, N.J.: This pandemic is going to be over at some point. Health-care workers are all being hailed as heroes, which they are, so how about we invite those heroes from all over the country to NYC (corporate and citizen donations can cover the cost), then we can toss them a party like no one else can: a ticker-tape parade up the Canyon of Heroes, a representative chosen by them can accept the Key to the City on their behalf — let’s show them just how much we appreciate them. Only New York is big enough to pull this off so let’s do it. Bill King
