Fatally shot during dice game in the Bronx

A 21-year-old man was fatally shot during a dice game outside a Bronx housing project early Wednesday, police said.

The victim was struck in the buttocks behind a building at NYCHA’s Claremont Parkway-Franklin Avenue Houses in

Claremont about 12:20 a.m. The bullet apparently traveled inside his body, striking vital organs.

Medics rushed the victim unconscious to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released. The shooter is being sought.
