Howard Beach: Everyone believes the sun rises and sets. It does not. The Earth rotates and revolves around the sun. This creates an effect that we misperceive as rising and setting; much the way our ancient ancestors saw ships sail away in the distance and disappear. They assumed the ships fell off Earth’s edge!
