A speeding driver ran off after crashing into two vehicles at a Queens intersection early Wednesday, leaving one of his passengers to die, cops said.

Suraj Yadav, a 23-year-old Indian immigrant who moved to America four years ago to support his family back home, died after the horrific early morning crash.

“He was a really hardworking and humble guy,” said his roommate, Gurpreet Singh, 24. “He was trying to fulfill his dreams.”

The hit-and-run driver was zipping east on Atlantic Ave. in a black 2018 Honda Accord when he slammed into a Ford F-150 truck turning south onto 111th St. in Richmond Hill just before 1 a.m., officials said.

Police took the driver into custody later Wednesday, cops said. His name has not been released and charges against him were pending.

Video obtained by the Daily News shows the Honda hurtling through the intersection as it strikes the truck’s front end.

The Accord continued east on Atlantic Ave., striking a Mercedes-Benz SUV parked near the Leahy McDonald Funeral Home.

The heartless driver jumped out of the wrecked Honda and ran off, leaving his three injured passengers behind, witnesses told police.

At least one passenger was ejected from the Honda during the crash, according to Gina Serrano, who saw the horrific crash when she showed up for her 6 a.m. shift at the nearby Atlantic Diner.

“There was fire trucks, there were tons of people trying to help the people in the cars and just bodies outside on the ground,” said Serrano, 59. “It’s really scary to me because I live, like, two blocks away. I walk to work.”

“It’s really, really sad,” she added. “Tragic.”

Medics rushed all three Honda passengers to Jamaica Hospital, where Yadav, who suffered a severe head injury, died.

The 49-year-old man driving the Ford truck refused medical attention. The 65-year-old woman behind the wheel of the parked Mercedes was taken to Jamaica Hospital with minor injuries, cops said.

Police questioned the Honda’s surviving passengers as they worked to identify the motorist who fled.

Singh described the driver as Yadav’s friend.
