A teen suspect has been charged with murdering an 18-year-old who cried out for his mother when he was shot on the stoop of his Bronx home, police said Wednesday.

Omar Barnes, 19, shot Jameik Bishop outside the victim’s home on E. 225th St. near Bronxwood Ave. in Wakefield about 11 p.m. April 24, cops said.

Bishop (photo), hit in the face, chest and right shoulder, yelled out for his mother as he tried to get back inside, a neighbor told the Daily News.

Medics rushed him to Jacobi Medical Center, but he couldn’t be saved. He was shot repeatedly with bullets tearing through his liver and kidneys, the city medical examiner reported after performing an autopsy.

Neighbors recalled Bishop fondly but police said he had been arrested 16 times, including for assault and robbery, and that he appeared to have ties to a gang called the 20/30 Group.

Barnes, busted Monday, was identified by a witness and surveillance footage recovered from the scene, police said.

He was charged with murder and ordered held without bail following a brief arraignment proceeding in Bronx Criminal Court on Tuesday, prosecutors said.
