The promise of justice, with the arrest of a teenage gang member in a deadly road rage shooting in Brooklyn last summer, has offered some closure to the murdered man’s family.

NYPD detectives spent weeks sifting through miles worth of video footage to track down and bust reputed Only the Fields gang member Marlon Quimbaya on Friday.

Quimbaya, 18, is charged with gunning down Kyleef Barrow on a Jackie Robinson Parkway off-ramp on Aug. 28.

“We’re happy that they made an arrest on the case, maybe my brother will get some type of justice,” said Barrow’s brother Damon White. “It’s not gonna bring him back, but it will bring closure to my mom. It will definitely bring closure to his siblings.”

White said police told him that Quimbaya was driving the SUV that carried the triggerman who killed his brother.

Barrow had pulled over on the Highland Blvd. off ramp after the dark SUV cut him off and was going to let the motorist — who was driving erratically — pass him, cops said.

Instead, someone inside the SUV opened fire on Barrow and left him to die, police said.

“It was just surprising to know that it’s a kid,” White said of Quimbaya. “That right there kind of hurts me, because we’re all for the kids in our community. Any way that we can help these kids in our community we do, we try.”

Quimbaya was charged with Barrow’s murder on Friday. He has been locked up on $150,000 bond following a September gun arrest and was ordered held without bail in Barrow’s case.

The bust is the first part of the healing process for Barrow’s family.

“It’s a positive step right now, we’re still going through the process and getting everything together, but it’s just good that they have somebody,” White said.

“They [the police] had to do a lot of intense investigating, so we appreciate the detectives that were on the job, that kept their foot on it. But the job’s not done yet.”
