Yorktown Heights, N.Y.: Re the Yankees fan who threw the baseball at Alex Verdugo (“Fallout,” July 19): I commend MLB for banning this person from any MLB game forever. Justice that is swift, efficient and harsh is noticed by all and deters others. Why can’t the criminal justice system follow suit?
