Went easy on ‘em

Bronx: Capitol Police were a bunch of chumps. They are lucky they did not get shot with their own weapons. They say they feared for their lives. Why did they not use lethal force like when they shoot Black people in the back, laying down or with their hands up? There was a lot of rage and violence; one cop got crushed by a door, crying like a baby, and no one fired a shot. They did a poor job that day. They should all be fired. They had it pretty easy all those years; as soon as they have to earn their pay, now they are retiring, resigning, getting out. They could have done more. That mob should never have gotten into the building. The police were overrun by unarmed people. I’m glad they were not with me in Vietnam. I was at Landing Zone Grant — we fought them off.
