Manhattan: To Voicer Joan Cocurullo: Do you really feel that vaccinated people being asked to wear masks is penalizing them? Is the mask painful? Too expensive? Are you being penalized by being compelled to wear clothes in public? To use a seat belt? To not walk against a red light? Put on your big girl pants and think about the big picture.

I bet you are not vaccinated. When the government is doing everything it can to save lives, there are those who refuse to be saved. While doing so, they put other lives in danger. Do more than 600,000 deaths touch anything in you? Give yourself a break from the usual sources of information you rely on and get the science facts straight. Understand that those facts will change as this virus changes. We can eradicate it or watch it mutate until vaccines and masks are no longer effective and we all die.
