It’s ‘Saul’ right, just a heart attack: Odenkirk

He’s breaking better. Three days after collapsing on the set of “Better Call Saul” in New Mexico, actor Bob Odenkirk said he suffered a “small heart attack,” but is on the mend.

“Hi. It’s Bob. Thank you. To my family and friends who have surrounded me this week. And for the outpouring of love from everyone who expressed concern and care for me,” the 58-year-old actor wrote to fans Friday on Twitter. “It’s overwhelming. But I feel the love and it means so much.”

Odenkirk’s representatives told the Daily News on Wednesday that the “Breaking Bad” actor had suffered a “heart related incident” and was in stable condition.

“I had a small heart attack. But I’m going to be ok thanks to Rosa Estrada and the doctors who knew how to fix the blockage without surgery,” Odenkirk further tweeted Friday.

“Also, AMC and SONYs support and help throughout this has been next-level. I’m going to take a beat to recover but I’ll be back soon.”

Odenkirk’s son tweeted after the incident that his father would be all right.

Comedian David Cross, with whom Odenkirk performed on the 1990s comedy program “Mr. Show,” tweeted Friday that Odenkirk would soon be giving fans an update on his condition.
