Cops seek escort in East Village theft of Rolex & credit card
A man whose roommate brought an escort home to their East Village apartment woke up to find his Rolex and credit card missing, cops said.
The 38-year-old victim said his roommate replied to an online ad for an escort Aug. 3 and invited the woman, believed to be 25, to his apartment on Second Ave. near E. 11th St.
During the visit, the woman swiped the victim’s $13,000 watch and credit card, cops said.
Police put out a wanted poster Monday with a picture of the 5-foot-3, 125-pound suspect (inset) and are asking anyone with info to call NYPD Detective Kevin Dwyer at (212) 477-7809, or the Detective Borough Manhattan South at (212) 477-7447.
