Police hunt escort in Rolex theft

- BY THOMAS TRACY

An East Village man declined an escort’s offer of sexual services — so she stole his $13,000 Rolex and credit cards, police sources told the Daily News on Tuesday.

The woman, who is believed to be about 25, was invited to the Second Ave. home near E. 11th St. on Aug. 3 by the victim’s roommate, who found her through an online escort ad, officials said.

A police source shared new details about the theft as the NYPD released a new photo of the alleged time bandit.

The 38-year-old victim claimed that he was asleep as the escort entertained his roommate. Afterward, she entered his room and asked if he wanted any “sexual gratitudes” for cash, police sources said. A source did not know the meaning of “gratitudes,” but assumed it was a reference to sex for money.

The victim said he turned her down and went back to sleep. When he woke up the next morning, his watch and credit card were gone, he told police.

One of his credit cards was used at a store a few hours later, the victim later learned.

Based on a description from the victim, the NYPD put out a wanted flyer showing a curvaceous young woman wanted for questioning. The police later scrapped the flyer after getting more info on the suspect.

The department released a new wanted poster with surveillance images of the suspected escort. She’s described as about 5-foot-3 and 125 pounds, with long black hair. She was also wearing a black surgical mask.

Anyone with information regarding the woman’s whereabouts is urged to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
