Staten Island: Op-ed writer Robert Bryce offers discouraging news about solar. Nowhere in his offering does he disclose that his parent organization, the Foundation for Research and Equal Opportunity, is a right-wing think tank funded in part by the fossil-fuel Koch family with a board of directors dominated by conservative and Republican Party insiders. Their website espouses a conservative corporate agenda that seeks to replace Obamacare with “near-universal” health care and preaches a corporate agenda. I would advise readers to take a few seconds to research the backgrounds of speakers in the public square. What they offer as free advice is often worth every penny.
