Shared history

Brooklyn: Voicer Heyward Johnson Jr. has a problem with Caribbean immigrants telling “American descendants of slavery” to get the vaccine, saying that they don’t share the same horrible history as the ADOS. Doesn’t he know that more than 80% of the entire trans-Atlantic slave trade wound up in the Caribbean and South America? And less than 20% came to the colonies before there was a U.S.? And African immigrants know a lot about the horror of slavery, it began there and went on much longer than it did here — and still does. Stop seeing racism around every corner.
