Brooklyn: Did Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the darling of the American socialists, really think that wearing an ugly gown with the message “TAX THE RICH” would have meaning to the billionaires who support the Met Gala? She’s too shrewd to think it mattered but smart enough to rub shoulders and make new political connections with the few who just might fall for her fraudulent rhetoric. By the way, did this socalled socialist have the nerve to pay $30,000 for a ticket while the majority of her constituents can’t pay their rent? Oh, sure, I know — the ticket was was a freebie from the museum. Wake up, New York, and all of America. She’s a fraud and a hypocrite with big ambitions, just like the rest of the low-life politicians in office today. We deserve better. Vera Badamo
