Affordability and a Diverse, Vibrant, Caring Community
Understanding that a college degree is a serious investment, New York Tech offers generous financial aid packages (98 percent of first-year students receive assistance). In addition to having one of the lowest outof-pocket tuitions among private colleges in New York State, it offers both merit- and need-based aid and has special scholarship programs for veterans, transfer students, alumni, and children of police, firefighters, EMS, and K-12 teachers.

Throughout the pandemic, counseling, health, and wellness services were provided to students by the university’s medical school and chief medical officer, a leader in public health and preventive medicine. The on-campus academic health care center in Long Island offered in-person and telehealth medical services, testing, and vaccinations.
In prioritizing students’ safety and well-being, the university has instituted new protocols and improved on-campus facilities and technology resources.
