Curriculum & Instructional Director, SI, NY: At ELI w/in the Ctr for Global Engagement at CSI of CUNY, be rspnsbl for strtgc & fiscal mgt/mrktng & recruitment/ staffing/retention/curr & co-curr/ student success; Prvd leadership & vision by mngng ELI prgrm budget & acad/financial success, create & admin academic policies/ procs; Rsrch/dvlp/eval/implmnt English lang curricula & instructional mtrls, conduct teachers & school staff trainings for imp of curr stndrds & new prgrms; Establish orientation prgrms for new intl students, manage acad spprt to prgrm by hiring/sprvsng/training teachers, helping students, coord admission to the college; Maintain expertise on current & emerging trends &/or tech rel to English lang learning & intensive English prgrms, prvd recomms for interface dsgn/sequencing of instruction/online interactive activities; Partner w/agents/insts/govts in enrolling students & dvlping grant & scholarship prpsls; Attend fairs abroad to recruit students, expand a netwrk of partner insts to enroll grps of students, & manage accreditation/reaccreditation processes. Req.: M. Ed or a rel discipline. Min 2-yr exp in managing a lang ctr & dvlping prtnrshps thr college agreements & govt grants; Sound student recruitment knwldg & rel networking contacts; High undrstndng of student recruitment/ mrktng/advrtsng actions in diff regions outside US; Strong ability to dvlp & imprv an academic lang curr. 35 hrs/wk.
