Howard Beach: So President Biden is happy to proclaim Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples’ Day, citing all the wrongs that Columbus did. What the papers fail to print or are afraid to print is that when you were a senator, you voted for every major and minor crime bill passed since 1976 that resulted in mass incarceration, and stated that George H. W. Bush was not doing enough to put violent thugs in prison. So 30 years later, he does a complete flip-flop on crime, pandering to the left who hate everything about America. If you want to change a sacred holiday, why don’t you explain your actions.
