A pregnant Lower East Side woman who was shot in the neck by her gangbanger boyfriend has died, authorities said Saturday.

The 27-year-old woman died Thursday at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Lower Manhattan, officials said.

The victim, who was about three months pregnant, had been on life support since the Nov. 11 shooting at her Vladeck Houses apartment on Madison St., sources with knowledge of the case said. Her identity has not been released by the NYPD.

Ex-con Dennis Fredricks (photo) bolted from the scene, pistol in hand, after the 8:45 p.m. shooting, police said. Responding officers found the victim in a first-floor apartment, bleeding from a gaping neck wound. “My daughter’s been shot. She’s pregnant. He shot her,” a woman who identified herself as the woman’s mother told the Daily News in the wake of the shooting. “He was in jail for domestic violence.”

The victim and Fredricks had a young son, relatives said. Fredricks, a member of the Air it Out gang, was located in New Jersey that night following a brief manhunt.

When he was arrested in Bogota, N.J., he had just carjacked an elderly motorist and had crashed the stolen car, authorities said. He also fought off cops taking him into custody, the Bergen County sheriff’s office reported.

As of Saturday, Fredricks remained in New Jersey facing carjacking and assault charges. He’s expected to be returned to Manhattan in the coming weeks to be charged in the woman’s slaying, authorities said.

Fredricks, who lives in the Bronx and also goes by the name Dennis Applewhite, was sentenced to three years in prison in 2014 on a conspiracy charge stemming from a firearms arrest in 2008 and is on parole until 2023.
