Director; HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., New York, NY; Responsible for inbound & outbound ECA & multilateral / developmental agency financing related to North America (NAFTA), & asset financing as it relates to the wider Americas. Must have a Bach degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field & at least 10 yrs of progressive, post-bach related work exp. Qualifying exp must include: Ability to operate in emerging markets & a track record in concluding transactions therein.; Broad sector exp including Rail, Oil & Gas, Shipping, Aviation, Telecoms, Power & Industrials;Track record & expertise in asset backed financing including aviation, shipping or related sectors; Strong referencing amongst clients & wider ECA community; Deep understanding of risk management & credit mitigants; Expert verbal & written communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills. Of the Qualifying Exp, must have 8 yrs in the following: Extensive exp in ECA backed financing generally, including with the European & Asian agencies.; Export credit financing in the US-Canada-Mexico region including transaction execution. Of the Qualifying Exp, must have 3 yrs in the following: Track record in dealing with developmental agencies including MIGA, OPIC, IFC. Of the Qualifying Exp, must have 2 yrs in the following: Extensive knowledge of the cruise ship sector & a track record of arranging ECA financing therein, this being a key component of ECA opportunities in North America. Must be able to travel (1-3 weeks a month) both internationally and domestically.
