CASALoving your home space

- BY REBECCA GITANA TORRES

Self-love, romantic love, and the love we have for our people are deeply connected to the home space as this is where we explore and live out these dynamics. When we heal our homes through mindful interior design and empowerment rituals we raise the vibration of love and passion in our lives. Who doesn’t want that?

Begin by envisioning the love you want to experience and embody. Set boundaries and standards for what is welcomed now. Look around your home and within yourself to see what needs transformation.

Clutter clearing is the next powerful way to make space for love. Remove anything that “hurts your feelings” and that doesn’t “love you back.” Release people, objects that hold sadness, or ill-fitting clothing. Make space for things that incite passion, pleasure, and a creative flow. You’ll be amazed at what shows up next.

Another way to amplify love is to observe the sounds allowed in your environment. Whether these sounds emerge through music, television, or chatter amongst ourselves, it’s powerful to step back and listen. If you aren’t hearing the frequency of love, it’s time to make some changes.

The most obvious physical place to create love and passion is in the bedroom. Eliminate excess and beautify what you see, even if that means throwing a tapestry over the mess sometimes. Update your space with activating symbols of love, union, or creation. Display a duo of your favorite animal, the Ankh, sacred geometry, or the double happiness symbol. Introduce colors like nudes to encourage intimacy and pops of reds or greens to activate the heart center.

On a whole, create spaces that highlight your passions. Imagine an art nook, a display of dreams, or revamping a room for connection. Colors like orange, soft lighting, inviting textures, and anything that draws your eye towards nature are all welcomed. Reimagine your bathroom as a temple to connect with yourself and your kitchen as a place to nourish your needs.

Finally, make things romantic and thoughtful. Store stuff where you actually need it and prepare special things in loving adoration for your future self. The vibe is to make love to your life in all the things that you do!
