2 shooters fire away, wound man in Qns. playground

- BY THOMAS TRACY

A pair of gunmen opened fire inside a Queens playground, wounding a 22-year-old man in the leg, startling video released by cops Thursday shows.

The victim was inside the basketball courts behind the Bay School on Beach 51st St. and Beach Channel Drive in the Rockaways when two men in black masks and hoodies walked up, pulled pistols and started shooting about 4 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.

One shooter fired at least five times while his accomplice let off at least three rounds, the video shows.

The victim was hit in the left leg. Medics rushed him to Jamaica Hospital, where he was expected to recover.

The two gunmen ran out of the playground and are still being sought. The Bay School was closed this week for midwinter recess, so there weren’t any children leaving the school when the bullets started flying.

Cops on Thursday released surveillance video of the Wednesday shooting (photo) in the hopes that someone recognizes the triggermen.

Both suspects are described as Black with thin builds. One is about 5-feet-6 and 140 pounds and was wearing a black hoodie, red sweatpants with a white stripe, a black mask and white sneakers. His accomplice was wearing a black-and-white hoodie, black sweatpants with a white stripe, a black mask and sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
