This country has served death cold to millions

- Richard Warren

Bronx: The U.S. and its allies were upset with former Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych for accepting a deal with Russia for discounted gas prices and a $15 billion loan, so Yanukovych was pressured to agree to a European-brokered deal that included him removing his police. That resulted in government buildings being occupied by his opponents and him being forced to flee. Recently, Russian leader Vladimir Putin called for guarantees that Ukraine would not join NATO. President Biden flat-out refused. The U.S. now claims to respect Ukraine’s sovereignty, which it did not do in 2014, just as the U.S. did not respect the sovereignty of the democracies it overthrew in Iran and Guatemala in the 1950s and Chile in 1973, to name only a few, just as it does not respect the sovereignty of Venezuela — they’ve been suffering from U.S. sanctions because their people have the gall to vote for presidents the U.S. disapproves of.

Despite U.S. provocations, Putin is a war criminal for attacking Ukraine — just as Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Biden are war criminals for supporting the Saudi war against Yemen that has resulted in more than 100,000 deaths, including people who are sick and dying from cholera because the infrastructure that provided them with clean water was destroyed. Just as George W. Bush is a war criminal for invading Iraq; just as Bill Clinton is a war criminal for the bombing of Serbia.

While the U.S. wails against the Russian invasion, its history includes invasions of Mexico, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, etc. The U.S. also invaded Russia in 1918 and occupied Siberia. Russia has never had troops in the U.S.
