The whole ballgame

Manhattan: Please tell Voicer Scott Thompson the “ball” will never be “back in his court.” The right to family planning (and privacy) is not a sporting event. Roe v. Wade is not “calamine lotion.” The right to control one’s own body is not something to be legislated, to be interfered with by politicians, to be dictated by other people’s religions, or forced into meaningless metaphors. There is no more personal and sacred right for a woman than to control her own body, or her choice to bear children or not. It is no one’s business but her own. Sam Katz
