Don’t have a cow

Mt. Pleasant, S.C.: James Cromwell was right to protest the upcharge for nut milks at Starbucks. People should not be penalized for making better choices for the environment. Also, there are many people, in addition to those with a plant-based diet, who are lactose intolerant or simply prefer soy, oat, or almond milk over animal milk. In these times, many types of milk are available, and not more expensive. People should not have to pay more. Dairy is detrimental to the planet. If the government didn’t subsidize the dairy industry, cow milk would cost more.
