Wake the heck up

-

Brooklyn: It is mind-boggling that state Attorney General Letitia James stated that the rise in crime has nothing to do with bail reform. Even more troubling is that most of the talking heads in the City Council agree with her. Yes, the new gun squad removed almost 3,000 guns off the street thus far this year. Great job. That number is a drop in the bucket compared to the number of ghost guns coming into this city from Pennsylvania alone. There are 30,000 felons in this city causing 8.5 million citizens to live in fear. Taking guns off the street is a dangerous and necessary task that the NYPD is doing and will continue to do. But this is not the answer. Until these sick bail reform laws are abolished and these felons are sent to jail, New York City will be known as fear city. Rightfully so.
