She, new dad A$AP Rocky called ‘over the moon’
She found love. Rihanna gave birth to a baby boy with rapper A$AP Rocky last Friday, TMZ reported Thursday.
The child’s name has not been released, and neither Rihanna nor Rocky have made a public announcement.
“They have not left each other’s side,” a source told Entertainment Tonight of Rihanna and Rocky. “They are over the moon. She’s been looking forward to motherhood for a long time. This little boy is going to have the best baby fashion.”
The superstar singer’s pregnancy was revealed in late
January when she was seen with a bare baby bump beneath an open coat during an outing in Harlem.
Rihanna, 34, frequently chronicled her pregnancy on Instagram during the subsequent months with photos showing her baby bump, including multiple images in April from a Vogue photo shoot.
“Me and my date for Oscar Gold Party,” she captioned a post in March, along with the hashtag #bump22.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s relationship was confirmed in late 2020. In a GQ cover story published last May, the rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, described Rihanna as the “love of my life.”
In February, Rihanna said she was enjoying the “challenge” of coming up with her maternity style.
“I’m enjoying not having to worry about covering up my tummy,” Rihanna told People. “If I feel a little chubby, it’s like, whatever! It’s a baby!”

Rocky, who hails from Harlem, is a two-time Grammy nominee whose hits include “Praise the Lord” and “F—kin’ Problems.”
The birth of their child comes about a month after Rocky was arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport in connection with a shooting that occurred on Nov. 6.
Police say a victim sustained a minor injury following the dispute “between two acquaintances.”
Rocky, 33, was released on bail shortly after the arrest. He and Rihanna were last seen publicly on May 9 at the Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Los Angeles,
according to TMZ.
