Little Egg Harbor, N.J.: Not sure what to make of Voicer Alycia Bacon’s letter. Is it tongue-incheek or does she believe it when she wrote, “He’s not using his powerful public service position to enrich his family”? As president and as a member of the Senate, President Biden’s salary is public information, and yet he has way more wealth than can be accumulated on his base pay. Please show me any member of Congress who, after 20 years of public service, is not fabulously wealthy. They all use their positions for financial gain, and Biden is no exception. The divide in this country is not Dems versus Republicans, it’s politicians versus the people.
