Once through the doors, host-owner Mike Metzger & his wife Chef Nida serve hard to find recipes that she grew up with in Thailand. Classic Thai food is renowned world over, yet rarely does one find it presented in such an innovative way as at Bangkok Station. Mike focuses on the business end & Chef Nida runs the kitchen, focusing on original Thai flavors & textures, with ingredients sourced fresh from the grower & best markets. Traditional Thai food with beautiful creative twists & attention to taste combinations will wow the most discerning diner. “Healthy, exotic fresh & flavorful” – is the word from the press, about this consistently excellent eatery. Only here since November of 2022, the ‘eye candy’ décor, fair prices & good tastes rule, due to the watchful eye of owner Mike Metzger, his partner Leo Lasopi & Chef Nida, who arrived from Thailand just a short time ago. The couple’s passion is obvious, as every dish is perfectly balanced & doesn’t need any sauce, salt, or anything else. The homemade Ginger Honey Tea, the wonderful welcoming & Thai influenced atmosphere all contributed to the delightful dining that our researchers experienced at this “feel good” eatery that is a great addition to the Nyack dining scene.
