John Boehner, the boozy, chain-smoking former Speaker of the House, roasts Sean Hannity (“a nut”) and Ted Cruz (“a reckless asshole”), among others, in his memoir about the pre-Trump GOP. He paints himself as the voice of reason—highly debatable, but he’s definitely not afraid to cry, or to drop foulmouthed, backroom truth bombs, often to hilarious effect.
