Many of us learned during the past year energy up while that levels working it can high be from and hard productivity home. to keep Maybe you’re working in sweats or pajama pants, and the inviting call of your warm bed keeps distracting you. (Or hey, maybe you’re actually just working from bed.) Maybe your normal go-tos — coffee, tea, soda — just aren’t doing it for you anymore. Remy Fine, a senior creative strategist at Vox Media who describes herself as “not a morning person,” had been feeling a dip in her alertness since beginning to work from home last year. She was curious about the wide world of energy drinks, so, as an experiment, she replaced her daily green tea with a Monster Energy Ultra for an entire work week. Monster Energy Ultra has zero sugar, unlike the original green Monster drink, and Fine says it helped revive her WFH days. “I think Monster fit best in the afternoon when [I needed] that additional kick,” she says. “I also found that it was great before important on-screen work calls because it perked me up so it didn’t seem like I’d just been sitting on my couch working all day.” Fine’s final verdict? “Monster was great for a quick boost of energy, and it tasted great,” she says. “I could see myself drinking it again when I need an extra boost.”
