Who Are the Main Characters?

Galadriel (Morfydd Clark)

Cate Blanchett played the older version of this character in the LOTR movies. Whereas that Galadriel was regal and reserved, Clark’s version of the character is younger and angrier. She’s obsessed with hunting Sauron down, even though most of her elven compatriots don’t believe he’s still out there.

Elrond (Robert Aramayo)

In the books and the films, Elrond is a halfelven leader who plays a big part in organizing the Fellowship of the Ring and acts as the stern father to daughter Arwen. In The Rings of Power, young Elrond is also a bit uptight, wary of his friend Galadriel’s exploits, and eager to impress king Gil-galad (Benjamin Walker).
