Up the block from the Village Halloween Parade and a potpourri of garishly dressed locals will be GWAR, whose costumed concerts attack the senses with pummeling riffs and visual putrescence. The band’s fourth annual Halloween spectacular provides as good a reason as any to trudge into their mouth of madness for both tricks and treats.
