“I’m on the billionth draft of this stupid novel,” says Phil. “I spend my free time surfing between coffee shops and scribbling on my manuscript.” Phil’s favorite spot to write in is Williamsburg’s Vittoria Cafe.

World traveler

Phil speaks fluent Spanish and “decent” French. His last international adventure was a trip to Barcelona.

“For dates, I like the usual stuff: bars, restaurants and movies,” says Phil. “I want to eat

grasshopper tacos, but no one has taken me up on it.”

California dreamin’

Originally from Bakersfield, Calif., Phil has lived in Brooklyn for one year.

Bookworm

The last book Phil read was 1954’s

Dry wit

Phil has a very sarcastic sense of humor. When asked if he has any pets, he says, “I love both dogs and cats. As do my sharks.”
