Report: Pelini got catty after Neb. firing

On the day he was introduced as Youngstown State’s new head football coach, the ugly nature of Bo Pelini’s departure from Nebraska was revealed. Pelini, who was fired on Nov. 30, lambasted Nebraska athletic director Shawn Eichorst in a profanityf­illed talk during his final meeting with his players. The Omaha WorldHeral­d on Wednesday reported that it obtained an audiotape of Pelini’s address to the players on Dec. 2 at a Lincoln, Neb., high school. Olomu injured a knee in practice this week and, according to an ESPN report, will be lost to the Ducks for the rest of the season.

Paul Chryst is going home to coach Wisconsin. The school made it official Wednesday, hiring the former Badgers offensive coordinato­r away from Pittsburgh.
