Bratton hecklers shown exit

More than two dozen agitators shouting such chants as “Community policing is genocide!” disrupted Commissioner Bill Bratton’s appearance at a City Council budget hearing Thursday — and it got so bad that all members of the public were given the boot.

Four individual protesters were ejected onebyone by the council’s sergeantatarms after shouting their grievances at about 10:30 a.m. as Bratton (inset) discussed the need for more cops with the council’s Public Safety Committee.

At one point, about 20 others jumped to their feet and chanted “Bratton has to be fired!”

Cops cleared the rabblerousers — and all other members of the public — from the room.

Cristina Winsor, 38 — who rants against the NYPD and quotes fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter on her Face book page — was busted (above) on a disorderlyconduct rap.

Protesters represented several anticop groups, including the Coalition to End Broken Windows and New Yorkers Against Bratton. Bratton took the barbs in stride, saying, “As Jimmy Durante used to say, ‘ Everybody wants to get into the act.’ ”

Bratton told the panel that 350 new officers would be assigned to counterterrorism duty and that others would help cut overtime costs, which soar when crime spikes.

“To address the possibility of potentially increasing lonewolf attacks, or more sophisticated operations, such as those in Paris or Mumbai . . . we’ll be assigning an additional 350 officers fulltime who have counterterrorism capabilities,” he said.

After his appearance, Bratton said that — unlike the protesters — most New Yorkers would welcome more cops on the force.
