Yanks tab vet Davies for ’ pen aid

The Yankees signed righty Kyle Davies to a major league contract and added him Sunday from Triple-A Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre. Additionally, lefty Matt Tracy was designated for assignment. Davis, who went through spring training with the Yanks, last pitched in the majors in 2011. One claim to fame: He surrendered Alex Rodriguez’s 500th career homer.
